Synergy Placements are proudly partnering with a reputable QLD Government organisation who are keen to engage an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Officer (AO3) to provide ongoing support, and actively participate in a team environment to achieve successful outcomes.

Based in a highly accessible office location in Inner Brisbane, this opportunity is looking for an immediate start on a short-term contract (3 months) with a possibility of extension.

**About the Role**:
Joining the friendly team within the Business Services in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, the Administration Officer will display a proactive and flexible approach to day-to-day support in undertaking the Business Services functions.

**Reporting to** the Team Leader - Business Coordinator.
**The role includes, **but is not limited to:

- Responsible for the accurate and timely purchasing of goods and services for the team and other corporate business units working within the government and across the organisation policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Manage sensitive/confidential information appropriately, and liaise, consult and negotiate to achieve best outcomes.
- **Responsible for travel booking, coordination and planning for all Organisation travel.**
- o Utilisation and administration of the approved travel management system.
- o Book, and provide advice and assistance on various travel issues within tight timeframes.

- **Experience in QLD Government Travel Booking **- _preferred._
- Proven experience building and sustaining relationships to enable collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
