Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity for a qualified, experienced, and committed individual to work within its Operations team.

This role provides assistance with maintaining the budget and providing advice on conservation issues, while supporting and developing existing community networks and promoting their activities.
- Ability to effectively liaise and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community groups, schools, volunteers, internal council departments, and external authorities.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading environmental conservation activities, including revegetation, bushland conservation, and weed control programs.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and coach team members and contractors in achieving environmental and community engagement goals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accurate data entry and record keeping utilising council data systems, specifically for tracking environmental activities, managing plant orders, and documenting project outcomes.
