**What's the role on offer?**

Based on site in our Head Office across from the Brisbane Airport, this is a new and exciting role working alongside our CEO. As the **Head of Project management,** you will be responsible for the design, setup and ongoing management of the Alliance Airlines Project Management Office (PMO). which will include but not limited to:

- Develop and implement governance frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the intended strategic outcomes.
- Drive process improvements, risk management, and benefits realisation across the organization through effective project planning and execution.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to both internal and external project resources, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Coordinate the identification and resolution of risks and issues impacting the successful delivery of programs.
- Work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to develop and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with project needs and organisational goals.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Formal qualifications in Project Management Methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK, and significant experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to establish PMO and Change Management Functions, with experience in risk management, mitigation strategies, and framework development.
- Strong leadership and emotional intelligence, with the ability to foster organisational culture, engage teams, and align project goals with business objectives.
- Advanced skills in planning and scheduling complex projects, critical thinking, decision making, and stakeholder engagement at all levels, including executive management.
- Extensive experience in delivering PMO activities, leading complex programs, and managing multi-disciplinary teams to drive effective project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
