Who Are We?
The Made In the Shade Group unites venues and services owned and operated by Michael and Zara Madrusan: The Everleigh, Heartbreaker, Connie's Pizza, Navy Strength Ice Co., The Everleigh Bottling Co., Bar Margaux and Connie's Italian Diner.
Every Made in the Shade venue or product is born out of a desire to break new ground in Australia's hospitality scene and define standards of service. Our motto is 'People before Drinks', this means consistent service across all Made in the Shade venues for every guest, seven days a week. We are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering every product and experience with authenticity and unwavering attention to detail.
In a basement-dwelling New York-style French bar and bistro, Bar Margaux takes its inspiration from the city that never sleeps. It is Melbourne's late-night love affair serving Classic cocktails, a wine list with a French accent and a menu of French bistro classics, served until late.
Role and Requirements
We are looking for experienced bartenders who share a passion for cocktails, service and people. We can teach you the Made in The Shade way of making cocktails but you must have the desire to create an experience for every one of our guests.
We're searching for energetic individuals, wanting to develop their craft. You will have good communication skills, a strong work ethic, a passion for sharp service (and drinks), and a great positive attitude. If you want to learn - and learn from some of the best - we want to talk to you. Approximately 20-25 hours a week.
