About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and personable **Sales Representative** to join our team in Brisbane. Whether you're an experienced sales professional or just starting out and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers in the food service and retail sectors to grow our client base.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
- Promote and sell our diverse range of Japanese food products.
- Process orders, manage client accounts, and ensure smooth, timely deliveries.
- Achieve sales targets and provide regular updates to your manager.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings as needed.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity.
- Visit clients to uncover new opportunities and provide support.
- Prepare quotes, record orders, and help arrange deliveries.
- Occasionally assist with deliveries or on-site sales support when required.
- Pitch in with general team duties as needed.

Requirements and skills
- A valid driver's license (essential).
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Proficiency in Japanese or a basic understanding of Japanese cuisine will be a bonus.
- Physically able to lift and move goods up to 25kg.
- Most importantly: someone who's proactive, reliable, and enjoys working with people.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
