**Your Role**
The NBN relies on individual technicians like yourself for the timely delivery of small sections of their network in order to succeed on the technical level, but also for improving the overall customer (and voter) experience that the project had been delivering so far.

- Assembling and mounting the VSAT ODU satellite dish, wireless or directional microwave antenna on roof, masts or other approved support structures.
- Installing the IFL cabling, wallplates, UPS systems
- Terminating cables, installing splitters, multiswitches and multiplexers
- Installing and activating VSAT Modems, IDUs, Set-Top boxes, connecting to customer WiFi and LAN Routers, Smart TVs, amplifiers, smart home wiring.
- Training customers in system and equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Cleaning up, completing the as-built and compliance documentation.
**Salary**
The starting salary package being offered in this role is between $58,000 and $68,000 plus superannuation depending on your level of experience, along with a fully equipped, "take-home" company vehicle.
**Location**
The business is located in Clayton South, where you will be required to pick up some of the materials required to work, but you will be working in numerous locations around metropolitan Melbourne and across the state of Victoria.
**Entry Requirements**
You will need to demonstrate a minimum of 2-years of documented experience in the role of a radiocommunication technician with active involvement in the deployment and troubleshooting of the following systems and equipment:
