Bellbird Music Lessons have offered music tuition in the Dayboro and surrounds community for over 10 years, building trust and strong relationships with local families. We love passing on our passion for music and pride ourselves on growing the confidence and talents of our students.
Bellbird Music are looking for piano and vocal teachers who are confident in taking over our current client base (approx. 25 students).
Lessons currently run after school Monday through to Saturday morning (excluding Friday), although this can be changed to suit your schedule.
Our studio contains a Yamaha upright piano, printer, resources with all learning materials for students and a bathroom.
For the past four years, we have held an end of year concert in the local hall which our students absolutely love and is always a hit

**Qualifications & experience**
- AMEB Grade 6 or higher (or similar).
- Previous teaching experience in piano or singing.
- Bachelors degree (or similar) in Music is preferred.
- Experience with teaching children and adults.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Lesson planning (Music theory and practical).
- Provide students with learning materials and resources necessary to their skill level (We currently use SuperSonics which the parents love as there's no need to purchase books)
- Preparing students for examinations and performances.
- Closing and opening studio.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Blue Card (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
