**Accountabilities include**: - Lead and manage the program approvals function, providing high level expertise in relation to project and program administration and approval processes. Manage the review and analysis of project information and program variation documentation from delivery areas, ensuring data integrity and compliance with business rules, prior to recommending approval by senior management within the Program Development and Performance Section. Manage the preparation and coordination of accurate, timely, and complex documentation for approval by TMR senior management, senior Government officials and Executive Council, including review and analysis of documentation, project commencement approvals, contract financial approvals, and contract variation submissions associated with infrastructure projects. - Manage the preparation and coordination of regular reports from departmental systems, including review and analysis of information, investigation of inconsistencies, and recommending corrective action, associated with program administration matters for approval by senior management. This includes documents associated with the works to tender reporting cycle for industry. Manage a number of related activities within the team, including ad hoc requests for information from a variety of departmental officers, senior management, and the Minister's office, often with competing priorities. Provide timely advice, support, and guidance to a variety of departmental officers and senior management regarding all program administration and approval matters. - Regularly monitor and review internal processes relating to program administration and approval matters to ensure continuous improvement to services.

This includes providing advice and strategic direction in relation to the department's 3PCM system. Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement.This role reports to the Manager (Funding and Approvals) and currently has three direct reports.Applications to remain current for 12 months.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
