Supported by approachable staff committed to student success, the school community is small (100+ students) but has a strong learning culture and significant growth potential.See a video of the Principal giving insight into the school here.About the RoleACC Hobart is seeking to appoint a part-time (0.8FTE, 60.8 hours per fortnight) Christian English Teacher, also covering a component of History or Drama.This role is available to start as soon as possible.The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the capacity to:Actively lead the Christian formation of students;Lead in delivering Pastoral Care grounded in genuine Christian faith;Contribute to an inclusive learning environment and foster cross-cultural understanding among students;Develop an educational approach that is biblically grounded, Christ-focused, culturally engaging, and academically rigorous.
Preference will be given to teachers familiar with the Explicit Instruction model;Teach the prescribed curriculum within a conducive learning environment to develop students' interests, skills, and abilities; andParticipate in staff meetings, contribute to extracurricular activities, and liaise with parents as appropriate.About YouYou hold a relevant bachelor degree and additional teaching qualifications (e.g., Masters of Education).
