Everything we do is dedicated to enabling, celebrating and supporting older Australians to live and age positively.About The OpportunityAs a Cook, you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.Working Hours10:30am - 5:30pm & 6:30am - 2pmWeek 1 Wednesday to SundayWeek 2 Thursday to SundayDuties Include But Not Limited ToTaking direction from the ChefEnsure delicious, well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned, prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residentsAssist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock controlPurchase and order stock and equipmentEnsuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislationAbout YouTo be successful, you'll need:Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (preferred)Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcareBulk cooking experience highly desirableExperience with texture modified food advantageousAbility to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workersCurrent COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)Please Note: Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker CheckBenefitsOur culture is both supportive and collaborative, where you can make your role your own.
