Our client is looking to hire an experienced Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Coordinator to join a busy team. Joining means becoming part of a collaborative and innovative environment that values professional growth and the advancement of safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a WHS Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of ensuring the safety of the workforce and operations. Your key duties will encompass:
Overseeing and enhancing the WHS Management System to align with ISO 45001 standards, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.

Delivering practical and current WHS guidance to managers and employees across all levels of the organization.

Collaborating closely with the Manager of People, Culture & Safety to implement the WHS Strategy effectively and consistently.

Managing the WHS hazard and incident reporting system, ensuring meticulous and timely record-keeping.

Taking charge of the contractor induction and compliance process, and conducting thorough site evaluations for adherence to safety goals.

Encouraging and nurturing a culture of WHS responsibility among staff.

Leading WHS investigations, coordinating with various stakeholders.

Contributing to the development and execution of impactful WHS training programs.

Crafting and submitting regulatory reports within designated timeframes.

Fostering relationships with regulators, industry networks, and representing the business

Providing comprehensive reports for the Executive, Board, and external partners as required.

Supporting the internal Risk Program and actively participating in incident, emergency, and continuity management.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A desirable qualification in WHS or related field, or a strong willingness to achieve a Diploma level qualification.

Previous experience in delivering safety advice for construction or operational sites.

Adeptness in driving change and implementing improvement strategies.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong project management capabilities, encompassing planning, organization, and reporting.
