**About Psychology**

The Psychology Department (General Health) leads and excels in research, teaching and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. As a team of clinical psychologists and clinical neuropsychologists working across all three Austin Health Campuses, we provide acute diagnostic, assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services to a broad range of inpatient, outpatient and community rehabilitation units. This includes neurosciences, oncology, aged care, subacute rehabilitation, community rehabilitation and medical/surgical units. We are a dedicated and highly expert team who value connection and collaboration and provide a supportive environment to learn, develop and excel.

**About the role**

This exciting role offers a unique opportunity for a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist to support the planning, development and implementation of education and professional development for clinical neuropsychologists. As part of the senior psychology leadership team and reporting to the Director of Psychology, the position supports supervision, training, education and professional development of students, Registrars, early career clinicians and more senior staff. The Clinical Neuropsychology Educator is a highly connected and collaborative role, including building and maintaining university relationships while supporting post-graduate placements and our dedicated Registrar programs. This is permanent, 0.4 EFT (2 days per week) position.

A regular day will see you:

- Working collaboratively with the Clinical Psychology Educator and Psychology leadership team to implement the Psychology Department Education Plan and other strategic directives.
- Design, deliver and evaluate a neuropsychology education program that is best-practice and consistent with the clinical and professional capability needs of our workforce.
- Supporting the dedicated Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar program through delivery of supervision, professional support and education.
- Coordinating student placements, whole team peer supervision and providing individual secondary supervision for neuropsychologists, as needed.
- Engaging interprofessionally with the Austin Health Clinical Education Unit via key educator network memberships.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist.
- Supervisor endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- A minimum of 8-years of experience as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with extensive experience working within hospital or health systems.
- Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver clinical education or professional development programs.
- High-level communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- The ability to build trust and credibility, and to develop and maintain constructive relationships.
