  • P2 Psychology Registrar – Neuropsychology endorsement track
  • 3 days Older Adult Mental Health + 2 days Health Independence/Memory Clinic
  • Supported and collaborative learning across a range of outpatient settings
  • General Psychologist Grade 2 (PK1- PK4); Neuropsychology Registrar
  • Full time two-year position
About the RoleYour Contribution
  • General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligibility to enter a Clinical Neuropsychology registrar program with the Psychology Board of AustraliaMaster's Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology recognized by Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)
  • Current valid Victorian driver's license
  • A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical neuropsychological diagnosis and neuroanatomy in the specialised areas of aged psychiatry, dementia and memory loss, and knowledge of related psychological, behavioural, social and health issues
  • Strong interest in neuropsychiatry and relevant aspects of clinical psychological care in the context of working with adults and older people, including those with developmental and acquired cognitive impairments and dementia.
  • Appropriate experience in clinical neuropsychology in a hospital clinic/community setting
  • Appropriate experience conducting assessments of decision-making capacity
  • Appropriate experience providing verbal and written neuropsychological feedback to individuals, families and carers, including within a multi-disciplinary clinical tea
  • Familiarity with relevant legal frameworks and role of authorities, including The Mental Health Act of Victoria, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Office of the Public Advocate.
