This is a temporary part time role, working 0.8 FTE across five days, for the duration of Term 4, 2024, with the possibility of leading to permanent work in the future.

**Pacific Hills Christian School** is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Christian school with 1500 students, located in Dural, in the Hills District of Sydney. The School is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW. The School emphasises excellence and growth in Christian character with its vision being 'to provide a Christian educational community as a centre of teaching, learning, and serving excellence founded on Biblically based beliefs, values, and behaviour'. **The successful applicants will have**:

- Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety.
- Capability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Experience with working with profoundly disabled children
- Experience with supporting the medical needs of profoundly disabled children.
- Experience with working with feeding and the personal care of profoundly disabled children
- Effective organisational skills and the ability to be able to multi-task and work efficiently.
- Acts professionally and maintains confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent initiative and judgement when required.
- Participation in co-curricular activities, camps and day trips/excursions.
- The successful applicant will be able to build good rapport with students with profound physical and learning needs and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Previous experience in an educational setting would be an advantage.

**The following experience, skills and attributes are desirable**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Boardmaker
- First Aid Certificate
- Certificate III Education Support - Learning Support Officer (Special) or higher
- Nursing background
