The Opportunity
Cochlear has an opportunity for a 6-month contract full time Logistics Operations Coordinator based in our Macquarie, Sydney office - Morning shifts initially, offering flexible hours for a PM shift. In this role, the successful Logistics Operations Coordinator will ensure parts and products are delivered to these customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Visual inspection and receiving transactions.
- Deliver to stock, through the business, including between sites.
- Follow relevant Quality Management System procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.
- Ensure all items are labelled appropriately and regular cycle counts conducted to ensure stock accuracy is maintained.
- Packing serialized, lot-controlled and expiry sensitive items
- Pick and pack items for export to regional warehouses.
- Assist in the training of new team members and up-skilling of existing team members as required.

Essential Skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Able to lift and move loads of up to 10kgs.
- Previous experience working in a store or warehouse.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Good understanding of Quality requirements and processes
- Self-motivated and displays initiative.
- Working as an effective team member
- Punctual and a high attention to detail
Desired Skills
- Experience with SAP / Oracle or a similar ERP system
- Intermediate level in use of excel and word.
- Experience using RF Scanners
