Respect also has home care services in multiple states, and more than 700 units in different retirement villages and independent living communities.The PositionThe successful candidates will join our dynamic and supportive care team and will provide competent personal care, support and assistance to all residents under the direction and guidance of the senior clinical team.
The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing competent personal care, support and assistance to all residents under the direction and guidance of the senior clinical team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required.Record observations on relevant assessment charts and documents any observed exceptions to the care plan in the progress notes; and reports such to the EN/RN.Check residents daily menu requirements.Attend to duties as allocated and or delegated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.Any other task not defined but within the employees skills, as directed by the organisation.RequirementsCurrent National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
NDIS check (or ability to acquire).
