Most importantly, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing your work improves the wellbeing of others.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care (qualified applications only), meal preparation, and household tasks and transportation - appointments and shoppingProviding emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in social and recreational activitiesMonitoring clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant partiesAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.Collaborating with the broader care team to coordinate and deliver integrated supportWhat we're looking forStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clientsA dependable and responsible attitude towards fulfilling your duties.
A caring, empathetic and patient approach when working with vulnerable clientsFlexibility to work a part-time schedule, including weekends and public holidays as requiredA current driver's licence and reliable vehicle to travel between client homesA commitment to upholding the values and principles of the aged and disability care sectors
