**Assistant Logistics Coordinator**

Workforce International is looking for a Assistant Logistics Coordinator for one of their clients based at Murrarie. This role is a Monday to Friday position which will initially be a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating the pick, pack and delivery function to ensure correct stock is picked, loaded and sent.
- Manage stock and report on inaccuracies.
- Monitor backorders to determine what is to be sent to the customer.
- Book couriers (with a focus on cost and service requirements)
- Process purchase orders and interstate transfers
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete to minimise delivery errors
- Manage credits and returns from customers, including paperwork, freight checking, restocking and put away.
- Liaising with the project management team to ensure site deliveries are delivered as per customer requirements, using and updating project management spreadsheets as required.
- Provide analysis on freight costs and review cost reduction activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards.

Essential Criteria:

- Team player with the ability to also work individually.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator at all levels
- Work well under pressure and good attention to detail.
- Self motivated with "hands on" results driven approach.
- Strong computer literacy skills in the MS suite of products.
- Previous experience in stock management and despatch
