**Department Overview**: The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with the functional teams and the primary relationship is to support the Tasmania Subscriber Support Team Lead, working closely with the TasGRN team on a day-to-day basis.

The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator works closely with the following:

- TasGRN Subscriber Team
- TasGRN Operations and Field Engineers
- TasGRN Operations Manager
- TasGRN Service Delivery Manager
- TasGRN Subcontractor installation representatives
- TasGRN Customer representatives responsible for subscribers, fleet operations and acceptance of installations
- TasGRN Telstra NOCC
- National Subscriber Manager
- To ensure total customer satisfaction by performing warehouse maintenance and material management activities for the Tasmania facility.
- Maintain systems and records to provide an accurate, complete and timely asset database to support financial reporting and loss prevention
- Responsible for equipment configuration and material handling according to required processes and schedules

**Analyze and develop logistics plans that enhance product workflow. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Strives to drive continuous improvement processes.
- Maintain the warehouse including neat and tidy organisation of stock, pallets and storage tubs
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in accordance with all WHS requirements and communicate these requirements to on-site personnel to ensure compliance
- Co-ordinate warehouse maintenance activities including security, cleaning, recycling, rubbish collection and pest control
- Act as nominated primary or secondary HSR / WHS site officer, perform workplace safety related tasks such as site inductions, inspections, fire extinguisher testing, first aid stock management, chemical registers, WHS noticeboard, maintaining a risk register
- Act as a nominated fire warden and perform regular fire safety drills
- Ensure monthly inspection checklists are completed by workers allocated to Motorola work vehicles
- Coordinate asset movements in line with TasGRN requirements, other departments and various project activities
- Conduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory levels, including identifying material shortages and triggering re-stocking processes
- Place orders for new and replacement equipment and ancillary items as required and track orders through to delivery
- Dispatch and receive assets, materials for further processing and handling of inwards and outwards consignments
- Perform asset tagging including updating applicable databases
- Update asset registers and keep relevant records in the applicable systems
- Ensure depot partner subcontractors have sufficient spare equipment and materials to perform the required services
- Identify faulty equipment and materials and determine the most suitable course of action to repair
- Program and maintain subscriber terminals and accessories as per prescribed procedures
- Perform regular battery maintenance activities including charging in line with required schedules
- Update/produce processes and work instructions related to warehouse management and logistics as needed
- Co-ordinate and take part in workplace occupational training as required
- Perform all work according to applicable quality standards
- Perform all work to according to procedures and instructions
- Achieve timelines while maintaining high quality standards
- Maintain conduct in accordance with Motorola's "CODE OF CONDUCT" and WHS policies

***Basic Requirements**:
**Essential**:
Inventory and warehouse experience
- Working knowledge of computer based software including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Forklift / 'Walkie Stacker' experience

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience with mobile voice and data communication equipment.
- Motorola product knowledge.
- Workplace Health & Safety Representative (HSR)
- Customer and supplier service skills
