**Position Summary**

The Customer Service Assistant will be responsible for servicing key accounts and looking after a large number of customers. The average day will involve processing orders, quotes, generating warehouse picks, liaising with a team of Sales Representatives and managing customer enquiries. You will also be heavily involved in the control and movement of stock.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting and reporting to the sales and distribution Manager.
- Resolving stock issues
- Investigating credit requests and processing these requests.
- Assisting in Showroom presentation
- Creating and maintaining customer information on our system
- General Administration - maintaining an efficient filing system.
- Online updates and maintenance.
- Releasing and creating warehouse picks for orders that have come into the system.
- Clear and accurate communications skills
- Processing EDI orders.
- Exporting goods to our overseas customers and processing shipping documents.
- Creating and setting up new customer accounts in our database and also on our B2B site.
- Processing payments on EFTPOS machine.
- Problem solving and following up with customers to ensure they receive the highest form of customer service.
- Liaising with the other team members in customer service department to ensure communication and smooth sailing for the day.
- General reporting to be done monthly
- Data base maintenance.
- Meeting deadlines
- Multi tasking
- Attention to detail is a must

**Salary**: $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Geebung, QLD 4034 (required)

Work Location: In person
