Warehouse Team Leader

With this, we have been able to achieve success and are looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader to be a part of the leadership team in our new Melbourne Warehouse Operations in the western suburbs of Truganina.

**What We Are Looking For?**
We are looking for a committed, hands-on experienced Warehouse Team Leader that can lead by example. You will be working alongside and supporting the Warehouse Store persons in completing all tasks required to ensure the Warehouse can operate efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time (Mon-Fri) hands-on, on-the-floor role supporting the Warehouse Supervisor (in addition to the Distribution Centre Manager) in problem-solving, planning, and providing support across the Warehouse.

**This position will be responsible for (but not limited to)**:

- Ensure Quality and Safety, by utilizing standardized processes and procedures.
- Lead and coordinate Goods Inwards and Despatch Processes
- Prepare and prioritise work for efficient and effective operations.
- Provide input into system processes and procedures leading to the improvement of efficiency, waste reduction and overall operational process improvement within the warehouse environment.
- Rectify and report stock discrepancy issues and perform stocktakes as required
- Ensure established task rotation is being adhered to and will meet performance targets.

**What makes you the right person?**
To be successful in this role the ideal person would have:

- Certificate III in Warehouse and Logistics or related discipline (desirable)
- Current Forklift Licence
- Knowledge of warehouse and logistic concepts including relevant computer systems.
- Demonstrated a high standard of attention to detail.
- Ability to provide direction to a team and collaborate in problem-solving
- Supervisory experience will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in managing RF order picking will be highly regarded.
