About Us

Grantscapes Constructions is a Melbourne-based company delivering commercial landscaping and concreting solutions across education, community and government projects.

We're a trusted subcontractor to Tier 2 and 3 builders — known for reliability, capability and consistent delivery. As our landscaping division grows, we're looking for an Apprentice Landscaper (2nd–4th Year) who's keen to keep progressing and build their experience on a wide range of projects.

The Opportunity

This role offers exposure to both soft and hard landscaping on schools, pavilions, sports facilities and community spaces.

While your apprenticeship will remain focused on landscaping, you'll also gain experience working alongside our concreting crews — learning how both trades connect to deliver complete external works packages.

We're open to applicants from both commercial and residential backgrounds who want to take the next step into larger-scale, high-standard work.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with landscaping works: planting, turfing, mulching, edging, paving, retaining walls, drainage and garden furniture installation
  • Work to site plans and specifications under direction of experienced supervisors
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and small plant safely
  • Support concreting crews when required (formwork, pours, finishing, clean-up)
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
  • Continue developing your skills through hands-on training and mentorship

What You'll Need

  • Currently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Landscaping Apprentice
  • Previous landscaping experience (residential or commercial)
  • White Card (required)
  • Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
  • Driver's licence and reliable car
  • Physically fit, reliable and motivated to learn
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
