About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Bobcat/Plant Operator to join our Operations Team on a permanent basis. You will report to the Works Supervisor and be responsible for the operation of Bobcats & other plant, and support the Asphalt Crew in daily jobs on site. You must be willing to learn the relevant machines and techniques involved in road construction with on-the-job training provided.

Mainly local work but must also be willing to travel and stay away on occasion. The applicants must be safety conscious, be aware of protecting the environment, and take pride in doing a quality job as this is of utmost importance to the company.

Full-Time Wage - $ hr super (depending on experience and licenses)

Specific duties will include (but will not be limited to)

  • Bobcat & plant operations
  • Support the Asphalt Crew on-site
  • Truck driving

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in Bobcat operations, including bucket, broom, and profiling attachments - wheeled and tracked bobcats.
  • HR Truck Licence (preferably Road Ranger exp.).
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit - participate in manual labour.
  • Self-motivated and positive.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

  • HC Truck Licence would be ideal.
  • Experience with pulverisor/road stabilising machines.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Civil construction knowledge.
