About the Role:

We're looking for a reliable, mechanically minded person to join our team in a hands-on support role at our manufacturing company based at Coolum Beach. This position would suit a retired or semi-retired tradesperson who still enjoys staying active, solving problems, and lending their practical know-how.

What You'll Be Doing:


• General facility maintenance


• Modifying and maintaining existing machinery


• Commissioning new lines


• Helping with machinery rebuilds


• Assisting the production team as and when required (ie absence of other staff) with day-to-day tasks

About You:


• Background as a tradie (mechanic, fitter, fabricator, or similar) or a service technician


• Previous conveyor experience would be highly regarded


• Fabrication experience would also be beneficial


• Practical, common-sense approach to fixing things


• Ability to work from free-hand sketches is a must


• Happy to lend a hand wherever needed


• Enjoys a relaxed, supportive work environment


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
