About the Role
As an Apprentice Metal Fabricator, you will work closely with experienced tradespeople to learn the ins and out of metal fabrication, including:
· Learn to fabricate, cut, bend and assemble metal components
· Reading technical drawings
· Measuring, cutting and assist with welding, drilling, grinding and finishing work
· Using hand and power tools
· Support a skilled team and gain real on-the-job experience
· Exposure to all departments within Simtech including press training, router operation and paint preparation
You will receive full training and support while gaining your qualification in Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade.
About You:
· A strong interest in fabrication and engineering
· Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
· Physically fit and capable of manual work
· Reliable, motivated and punctual.
