About the role

We're seeking a talented freelance Graphic Designer & Digital Content Creator to join Studio 2am on a part-time contract basis (1–2 days per week). You'll be designing across social media, email, our website, and other creative needs, always keeping in line with Studio 2am's brand.

Alongside executing from briefs, you'll be encouraged to pitch your own creative ideas for posts, campaigns, and content pillars. Your work should not just look good, but feel fresh, relevant, and in touch with current design trends — especially in the context of Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.

Tasks & responsibilities include:

  • Design high-quality graphics across social media, email, and website formats.
  • Contribute creative ideas for posts, campaigns, and content pillars that align with Studio 2am's brand.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Coordinator to deliver designs from briefs and original concepts.
  • Use tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Canva, and (ideally) After Effects for motion graphics and animated content.
  • (Bonus) Use videography or animation skills to enhance content.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven graphic design experience in a relevant setting — this could include freelance work, a previous role, or producing design content for your own creative social media channels.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, with familiarity in tools like Illustrator, Procreate, Figma (After Effects a plus).
  • Up-to-date with current graphic design trends, particularly in social media and digital content, with an understanding of what resonates on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • A portfolio that reflects a style and creative approach in line with Studio 2am's forward-thinking, design-led brand.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong visual eye.
  • Ability to work both from briefs and by pitching original ideas.
