Location: 76 slater parade, Keilor East,VIC 3033.

Position: Motor Mechanic (General) – Full-Time

Salary: $73,000 - $75,000 + Superannuation

Your Role

You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of light vehicles, ensuring top-notch performance and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform general servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles

  2. Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems

  3. Use electronic diagnostic tools and manual techniques to detect faults

  4. Carry out component replacements, including timing belts, clutches, and exhaust systems

  5. Conduct road tests and final checks to ensure repair accuracy and safety

  6. Maintain accurate service records and update job cards

  7. Ensure workshop safety standards and cleanliness are upheld

  8. Collaborate with other technicians to meet service deadlines

What You'll Need

  1. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

  2. Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a qualified motor mechanic

  3. Proficiency in fault-finding and diagnostics using scan tools

  4. Solid understanding of vehicle systems and service procedures

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team

  6. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  7. Valid Australian driver's licence
