Core objectives of this role include:

·       Understanding and experience in use of various welding technologies.

·       Welding of stainless steel components using TIG, MIG, or resistance welding techniques

·       Ability to professionally use a range of hand and power tools to carry out other fabrication roles such as cutting, drilling, parts assembly, grinding, polishing.

·       Reading, interpretation and understanding of basic fabrication drawings and specifications.

·       Ability to follow instructions and manage personal workflow

·       Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area

·       General workshop duties

  • Production focused: committed to providing consistent and efficient  production across all aspects of fabrication – preparation, welding and assembling.

  • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly, understand the instructions given and preparedness to ask questions if in doubt.

  • Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail in fabrication, and efficient and tidy workshop habits.

  • Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.

  • Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
