What's the role?
You'll be at the heart of supporting one of Australia's most vital sectors – Agribusiness (Northwest Tasmania). As a Senior Relationship Manager based in Smithton TAS, you'll lead relationships with key players in the agricultural industry, while also supporting large commercial clients. You'll work with businesses requiring lending solutions from $3M to $50M, helping them grow and thrive. You'll be well supported by our wider Agribusiness team with local support. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, backed by a dedicated Agribusiness and Commercial Banking team.

What do I need?

  • Agribusiness Expertise: Deep understanding of the agricultural sector, its cycles, and its challenges.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience supporting large commercial clients with complex lending needs.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to foster strong, long-term client partnerships.
  • Credit Skills: Strong in cashflow lending, balance sheet analysis, and deal structuring.
  • Business Development: Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing customer portfolios. Including acquiring new-to-bank customers and leveraging a well-established network of referral sources.
  • Network Strength: A well-established network of industry and referral partners.
