Dairy Plant Operator - Dennington

ProviCo Australia is a dairy nutrition company with a large dairy processing facility located at Dennington, on the outskirts of the major regional city of Warrnambool in South West Victoria.

The company has embarked on a major capital investment program strategically designed to reinvigorate the site's manufacturing capability and transition the business to next generation dairy company focusing on bio-nutrients.

Milk is collected daily and processed into a range of dairy products which are sold throughout Australia and around the globe and find their way into a wide range of food products enjoyed by many people every day.

The position:

We are seeking a dedicated Dairy Plant Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating equipment and processes involved in the production and packaging of high-quality dairy products. Your duties will include performing quality checks, troubleshooting issues and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.

This is a full-time position.

To succeed in this role, you'll be a reliable team player who supports others and takes initiative. You'll bring a strong understanding of production, safety, and quality systems—and won't hesitate to get hands-on when needed.

Key attributes and requirements:

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to follow work instructions accurately
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, with a proactive, "can do" attitude
  • Confident in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team
  • A current forklift license and valid driver's license (preferred)
  • Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing (preferred)
  • Proficiency in operating systems and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Alignment with ProviCo's values and behaviours
