ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the hunt for our next superstar coach who REALLY knows how to work the room and whip our members into a fitness frenzy The position will be on a Casual basis (with increased hours ongoing based on performance).

We're looking for:

• PERSONALITY: If you're loud and extroverted, we want YOU You're a "people person" who knows just what to say to make members tick. You love a social chin wag, but you especially know how to get the most out of people and leave them feeling satisfied. Most importantly, you know how to have FUN and make it fun for members.
• CONFIDENCE: You walk the walk, talk the talk, and know how to make the big barbell lifts look easy-peasy You have a passion for weight training, cardio endurance and hybrid workouts, and can back yourself 100% You can identify member strengths, and can encourage them to push a little heavier, sprint a few seconds longer and build their own confidence in the gym.
• GROUP TRAINING EXPERIENCE: Controlling the flow of our peak time sessions (and they are BUSY) is essential to delivering on our promise of a premium group fitness experience. You're not shy about turning up the volume, using your BIG voice and working with the other coaches to create a seamless experience for everyone. ONE YEAR GROUP TRAINING COACHING MINMUM REQUIRED.
• ENGAGEMENT: Community is at the heart of everything we do here Creating relationships both inside AND outside the gym is essential to keeping our members engaged, and you engaged as a key player. Taking a genuine interest in our members and their progress is important to rounding out your place on the team.
• GO GETTER ATTITUDE: You have a positive, upbeat outlook and nothing is too big of a challenge for you You play well with others and can work in a team environment, but you also know how to keep it moving by yourself too (on the rare occasion). This role would have you working with other coaches, led by our Head Coach on floor and Studio Manager behind the scenes.

THE BARE MINIMUM

• Personality and a great attitude- we ain't kidding, see above
• Experience required - minimum 1 year coaching group fitness classes
• Availability to work a mix of early mornings, weeknights and Saturdays/public holidays (on a rotational basis)
• Relevant Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness (or equivalent)
• Up to date Senior First Aid and CPR
