Our local government client located in Leichhardt is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Insurance Officer to assist in managing our insurance portfolio. Reporting to the Insurance Coordinator, you'll handle claims processing, policy support, stakeholder advice, and ensure accurate records and compliance with client's procedures.

About the role:

  • Monday - Friday:
  • Pay Rate: $38.33 p/h
  • Support the management of public liability, professional indemnity, motor vehicle, property, and personal injury insurance.
  • Investigate and process insurance claims.
  • Maintain accurate insurance records and prepare reports.
  • Liaise with staff, third parties, and legal teams on claims and policy matters.
  • Provide advice on Council's liability and insurance schedules.

What You'll Bring
- 2 x Covid Vaccinations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in insurance, business, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and insurance principles.
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.
