Vertical Scope Group (VSG)
are continuing to grow our team, and we are seeking driven and highly skilled, NV2 security cleared, Director of Maintenance Operations to join our award-winning team in delivering services to our customer in the National Security Community.

The role is available in
ACT, WA, QLD and NSW
.

About You:

  • Previous experience with personnel management, development and training.
  • Previous experience with facilities operation and upkeep.
  • Previous experience with specialised test equipment and tool upkeep.

About the Role:

  • In collaboration with System Program Offices, agree weapon-specific annual maintenance plans to meet Defence preparedness objectives
  • Lead and manage guided weapons maintenance operations, including scheduling, facility, workforce and budget management, support and test equipment management and risk management
  • Effectively manage production risks to maximise throughput required to achieve agreed targets
  • Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement, to maximise the availability of weapons inventory.
  • Support the Head Resident Unit to implement and maintain a management system that proactively controls safety and security at maintenance facilities, inclusive of any contractor-operated facilities within the maintenance precinct, in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, standards and policies.
  • Provide regular reporting of maintenance performance to Systems Program Offices and Branch and Division senior executives
  • Support the Director Maintenance Plans in assessing and monitoring Maintenance capability and capacity
