About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - HCF to join our Martine Division based in Osborne or Mawson Lakes - Adelaide. This role is a fixed term position ending 30th April 2026.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, hybrid working.
As the Project Manager-HCF you will be collaborating across departments on exciting and challenging technical issues keeping your mind engaged and always thinking of solutions. You will showcase your end-to-end project management fundamentals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and management of the associated scope of work schedule, cost and quality outcomes for the project tasking statement.
- Assist in development of the Project approach to achieve the outcomes of the project tasking statement.
- Support development and revision of Project plans to meet the objectives of the Project.
- Participate in risk and opportunity assessments associated with the project tasking statement.
- Support develop monthly project reports including summarised progress, schedule, EVM and R&O data
- Support the monthly drumbeat cycle of project schedule progress, R&O reviews and EAC updates
About YOU
- Degree qualified (Science, Engineering or Business).
- Post graduate qualification in Project Management (desirable).
- Project Management Certification through AIPM or equivalent institution (desirable).
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated project management experience, with a strong preference for a background in Defence projects.
- Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Demonstrated skill in effective liaison with both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in an autonomous role, taking responsibility for your projects and driving them forward to achieve key business results.
