Fabricator Apprentice
  • Examine drawings to calculate material requirements
  • Fix and assemble metal fixtures
  • Cut, roll, shape and bend materials
  • Heat and treat metal materials
  • Finish products through cleaning, polishing or filing methods
  • Use specialised equipment and tools
  • General warehouse and labouring duties
About You:
  • Passionate about the engineering industry
  • Love working hands-on
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic
  • Eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Thrives working in team environments
  • Love learning new systems and procedures
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Drivers' licence with own vehicle
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
  • Possess good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
  • Previous experience or pre-vocational certificate (desirable)
