Trainee Teacher

We are seeking to appoint two Teaching Assistants to work part-time (2 days) to join either our Narre Warren South or Wantirna South campus for two days a week, starting January These fixed-term positions (two or four years) offer you the unique chance to work, earn, and learn — combining paid, hands-on classroom experience with your studies towards a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching at Eastern College Australia or Christian Heritage College through CITE Alliance Victoria.

• Be enrolled to study as a CITE Alliance student with Eastern College Australia or Christian Heritage College
• Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
• Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
• Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
• Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

A Working with Children's Check, and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired.  A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), and Anaphylaxis Certificate (22578VIC or HLTAID012) are also required prior to starting in the role.
