About theRole:

You will be supporting the finance team to ensure all management and financial reporting obligations are met. Activities include month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and claim preparation

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00am-3:00pm, flexible hours, 38hrs per week.
  • Office located in Arundel, Gold Coast, Queensland
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collating and processing claims to a tight deadline
  • Assist with journal preparation, cost allocation, and other ad hoc month end (and non-month end) journals and cost transfers
  • Additional reporting and reconciliation tasks that the individual can support in
  • Creating and maintaining processes
  • Collating & reconciling claims and dealing with internal/external stakeholders (client, PMs)
What's required:
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel Skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc
  • CA/CPA highly preferred or working towards
  • SAP experience is a bonus
  • All rounder/Project Accountant vs end to end Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience in Project Accounting, cost control, financial reconciliations, claims (compared to admin/coordinator based experience, end to end)
  • Experience working in projects: deal with stakeholders, producing client claims through to approved billing
