An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team at CPS. Located in the creative hub of Surry Hills, we are a reputable consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions for a diverse range of clients and projects across NSW.
The Opportunity
As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of projects from initial concept through to successful completion. This role is perfect for a motivated professional with 3-5 years of industry experience who is passionate about creating high-quality, impactful landscapes.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Driving projects from inception to completion with a high level of autonomy.
- Preparing comprehensive design documentation, including detailed planting, material, and construction plans.
- Liaising directly with clients, consultants, and local government authorities.
- Conducting site analysis and providing on-site support to ensure design integrity.
- Utilising your expertise in the full project lifecycle to deliver outstanding results.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A relevant degree in Landscape Architecture.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role with a proven track record of managing projects.
- A high level of proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Competent and efficient use of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Graphic communication of a proficient level using both digital and hand-drawn formats to convey design ideas, concepts and documentation.
- An understanding of NSW planning instruments and design standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
- A proactive and meticulous approach with a keen eye for detail.
- Australian work rights are essential for this position.
