About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Governance & Assurance Manager to join the team in Henderson.

The successful applicant will be responsible for being the primary point of contact for the Governance & Assurance group in Western Australia.

Reporting to the General Manager of Governance & Assurance, you will work closely with programs and corporate functions, manage and provide Technical Governance, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality assurance, IMTE Calibrations and Product Safety services/functions and establish the associated quality assurance standards, requirements, and processes across the whole organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of Governance and Assurance across ASC, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient systems of work
  • Develop and implement quality governance and assurance frameworks for both enterprise and supplier arrangements
  • Ensure alignment of ASC systems and processes across all programs
  • Support the delivery of governance and quality assurance services across the organisation
  • Lead the development and execution of quality and supplier audit programs to meet business needs
  • Report on the performance and compliance of the quality governance and assurance function in line with business and program requirements

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering/science/business discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in governance, quality, or compliance roles within Defence, manufacturing, or heavy industry
  • Strong systems engineering background with the ability to capture and demonstrate requirements to stakeholders
  • Proven background in Defence, with a solid understanding of industry standards and expectations
  • Strong knowledge of technical systems of work, quality assurance standards, and corrective action/change management processes
  • Problem solving at the highest level of complexity and importance that materially affect the value, viability and profitability of ASC.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
