Darwin City Hotel is a well appointed 4 Star AAA-rated hotel located in the heart of Darwin City along with our sister properties DC on Mitchell and Darwin Resort located in close vicinity.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Front Office Receptionist to join our fantastic team on a CASUAL basis to work across all our hotels.

You will be working between 15-25 hours per week on a rotating roster. This includes early morning, evening and over night shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of Front Office Reception, with tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Responding to accommodation enquiries & processing reservations
  • Performing check-ins & check-outs using RMS PMS
  • Maintaining accurate guest accounts & guest history
  • Delivering a high level of professional customer service
  • Ensuring all aspects of front office/reception run smoothly

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following:

  • Hospitality reception experience is essential.
  • Previous experience working within a rotating roster is highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Passion for providing friendly, personalised customer service
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Enjoy working both autonomously and in a team environment
  • A genuine interest in a career within the hospitality industry

Experience with sales and industry qualifications will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be flexible and available to work shifts which include morning, afternoon and overnight with a roster which includes weekends and public holidays.
