Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC) is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead a major Procurement Operating Model Transformation. This 12-month contract role will drive the shift from a decentralised to a centre-led procurement model, enhancing maturity, governance, and strategic value across the organisation.
You'll work closely with the newly appointed Director of Procurement and the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to deliver a high-impact transformation program. This is a hands-on role focused on executing the transformation roadmap, uplifting capability, and embedding sustainable change.
As a Procurement professional with prior procurement transformation experience you will,
- Lead the design and implementation of new Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Establish governance structures including a Procurement Steering Committee.
- Support category management framework development and capability uplift.
- Manage project scope, risks, and stakeholder engagement across business units.
- Collaborate with ICT to integrate procurement systems (Protecht and Finance 365).
- Drive delivery excellence and support PMO standards and practices.
About You
You're delivery-focused with:
- Proven experience in procurement transformation, process redesign, and category management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement systems and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to influence at all levels.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain, or related discipline (postgraduate desirable).
- Prior experience leading procurement transformation
- Experience with lean six-sigma methodologies and procurement process design.
