Built in the 1920s by the Grace Brothers as a showpiece of their successful retail business, The Grace Hotel has beautifully restored its former glory to become one of Sydney's most famous historical landmarks. It is a fine example of Neo-Gothic architecture, with contrasting Art Deco interiors that offer a unique blend of ancient charm and modern comfort.

Located in the heart of Sydney, this heritage-listed 387 room hotel offers the service and luxury of a city hotel to meet the needs of today's discerning guests.

The Role

We are seeking a Casual Porter to join our Concierge team. This is your opportunity to foster a career in hospitality within a reputable hotel and be part of a hardworking and innovative team. The ideal candidate must be committed to being part of a team dedicated to providing quality customer service and continually looks for ways to exceed our guests' expectations.

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Excellent grooming and presentation
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Sydney sightseeing spots and general information
  • 4.5 or 5 stars hotel experience preferred
  • The ability to work professionally under pressure
  • The passion for providing every guest with a positive experience
  • Ability to work a rotating 7 day roster
  • Physically fit to handle luggages and heavy lifting
