About Us:

We are a global medical device company specializing in high-quality injection needles and cannulas for medical and aesthetic applications. As we expand our presence in Australia, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who will also support daily order handling operations. This is a key foundational role with the potential to evolve as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Accounting:

  • Maintain financial records using accounting software
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and employee expenses
  • Process payroll, superannuation, and compliance
  • Prepare and submit BAS, GST, PAYG, FBT, STP, Income Tax Returns, and other tax filings to ATO
  • Support monthly/quarterly reporting, audits, and tax strategy
  • Analyze financial data and prepare statements
  • Manage tax compliance and risks
  • Oversee employee benefits, fixed assets, and year-end tax adjustments

Corporate Services:

  • Collaborate with global HR and oversee employee welfare programs, including health insurance, superannuation, and other benefits
  • Manage office facilities, supplies, and employee welfare programs
  • Ensure compliance with workplace laws (WHS)
  • Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding and insurance policy administration

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping and general accounting
  • Certificate IV or higher in Accounting or Bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Sage, or similar. NetSuite experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
