The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Officer to join
our team working on cardiometabolic conditions in pregnancy. This position will
contribute to advancing research translation, engagement, and impact through
high-quality research outputs and collaboration.
In this role, your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Prepare high-quality written documents including research manuscripts, briefing notes, and reports.
- Undertake qualitative analysis and communicate participant feedback from earlier research stages.
- Support ethics and governance processes, including compliance and reporting obligations.
- Actively contribute to team meetings, presentations, and collaborative projects.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen research impact.
This is a short-term casual position, based in Adelaide,
with flexible working arrangements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong track record in
research with a commitment to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander communities and services.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Qualifications in public health, health promotion, health services, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in qualitative research with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and services.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with evidence of academic writing.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and respect for diverse peoples, cultures, and genders.
Desirable:
- Evidence of research experience and publication.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of research governance and data management processes
