Senior Research Officer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Officer to join
our team working on cardiometabolic conditions in pregnancy. This position will
contribute to advancing research translation, engagement, and impact through
high-quality research outputs and collaboration.

In this role, your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Prepare high-quality written documents including research manuscripts, briefing notes, and reports.
• Undertake qualitative analysis and communicate participant feedback from earlier research stages.
• Support ethics and governance processes, including compliance and reporting obligations.
• Actively contribute to team meetings, presentations, and collaborative projects.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen research impact.

This is a short-term casual position, based in Adelaide,
with flexible working arrangements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong track record in
research with a commitment to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander communities and services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Qualifications in public health, health promotion, health services, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in qualitative research with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and services.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with evidence of academic writing.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and respect for diverse peoples, cultures, and genders.

Desirable:

• Evidence of research experience and publication.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of research governance and data management processes
