About you
For this role, we will consider how well you demonstrate:
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review, analyse and report on complex issues, develop strategies for improvement, make high quality decisions and judgments and provide expert advice to our external and internal stakeholders.
Relevant practical experience in a law enforcement agency or other public sector agency in areas such as internal workplace investigations or criminal investigations, compliance, audit or policy, coupled with relevant training or qualifications.
Highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills including the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate effectively both within the Commission and with officers of other public sector agencies in relation to complex and sensitive issues, and to participate in education programs, liaison activities and regional visits.
Well-developed written communication skills including the ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence dealing with complex issues.
Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the Commission's legislative framework, policies, procedures and functions, and the relevant legislative and policy framework, procedures, functions, structures and operations of public sector agencies, including and understanding of the principles of fairness, equity and ethics.
