Join City of Moreton Bay's 2026 Graduate Program to gain hands-on engineering and planning experience in a dynamic, growing community.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Participate in a two-year graduate program with four rotations every six months across various teams.
  • Work on hands-on projects shaping one of Australia's fastest-growing regions.
  • Contribute to areas including Urban Planning, Environment & Sustainability, Integrated Infrastructure, Project Delivery, and Asset Management.
  • Collaborate within City Operations, City Futures, and City Administration functional groups.
  • Engage in activities such as development application reviews, engineering assessments, master planning, biodiversity initiatives, infrastructure planning, and community asset management.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Recent graduates or those completing their degree by February 2026 in Engineering or Planning disciplines.
  • Engineering degrees may include civil, coastal, drainage, mechanical, environmental, structural, electrical, project management, or mechatronic fields.
  • Planning degrees may include town planning, urban planning, urban design, urban development, architecture, or transport planning.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, motivation, and ability to work well in a team.
  • Alignment with corporate values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Sustainability.
  • Willingness and ability to work from Strathpine, Caboolture, or Narangba Depot locations.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting salary of AUD79,563 per annum plus 12% superannuation, progressing through levels 3 to 5 annually.
  • Full-time, 72.5-hour fortnight with a 9-day fortnight schedule (Monday to Friday).

Training & Development

Career Progression
  • Progression through program levels from level 3 to level 5 with annual increments.
  • Experience across multiple teams and projects to prepare for future career opportunities in engineering or planning.
