Job Description

Scouts SA Recycling is seeking a reliable and self-motivated HR Truck Driver to join our logistics team at our Slacks Creek QLD Recycling Depot. This role involves operating heavy rigid vehicles to perform multiple pickups and deliveries across designated routes, with a focus on efficiency and safety, as well as supporting the depot with Forklift operation and Recycling Attendant duties.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop pickups and drop-offs across various locations
  • Operate within a "Swap and Go" system
  • Safely load and unload trucks using a forklift
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch
  • Conduct pre-start checks and ensure vehicle compliance

You will need to have:

  • Valid HR truck licence
  • Forklift licence and experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to start early and adapt to changing schedules
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
