Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 + super
Location: Botany, Sydney (hybrid)
Job Summary
We are seeking an
Image Processing Engineer
to design and enhance imaging capabilities for advanced electro-optical systems. This role involves developing, testing, and optimising algorithms and software that support next-generation vision technologies.
Australian citizenship required due to security vetting requirements.
Required Experience
- Strong background in image processing, computer vision, or related fields
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for algorithm development
- Experience with real-time image and video processing techniques
- Familiarity with machine learning or AI-based vision methods
- Experience in AI/ML for computer vision is beneficial (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and optimise image processing algorithms
- Implement software solutions for real-time vision systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate imaging solutions into larger systems
- Conduct analysis and validation of image data to ensure performance and accuracy
- Support research and development of new imaging capabilities
