We are looking for dedicated and trustworthy Casual Cleaners to join our growing team across Queensland.

The Role

As a Residential Cleaner, you will provide professional cleaning services to homes and clients supported by Compass Prestige Cleaning.

Typical duties include:

  • Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces to a high standard
  • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces
  • Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (in accordance with WHS standards)
  • Following job-specific checklists and instructions
  • Reporting any safety or maintenance issues promptly

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • At least 1 year of residential or commercial cleaning experience
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Australian working rights (citizen, PR, or valid work visa)
  • Commitment to safe work practices (use of PPE, correct handling of cleaning products)

Preferred:

  • Certificate III in Cleaning Operations (CPP30321) or willingness to obtain
  • Police Check or ability to provide one
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) – if working in family or child-related homes
  • Driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Experience with deep cleaning, bond cleaning, or NDIS client homes (advantageous)

  • Queensland Work Health and Safety Act 2011
  • Cleaning Services Award (MA for casual employment
  • Proper use of PPE and cleaning chemical safety (SDS)
  • Client confidentiality and professional conduct requirements
