About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Technician) to join our Albury team. The successful candidate will play an important role in servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and dismantling heavy trucks and diesel engines within our workshop and dismantling division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, service, and repair heavy trucks, diesel engines, and related mechanical systems.

  • Assist with dismantling and preparing heavy vehicles and machinery for parts supply.

  • Maintain high workshop standards and ensure OH&S compliance.

  • Provide technical support to internal teams and customers when required.

  • Complete job cards, inspection reports, and related workshop documentation.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Qualification as a Motor Mechanic (or equivalent international qualification), or at least five years of full-time work experience as a motor mechanic.

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in repairing and servicing heavy vehicles or diesel engines.

  • Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Basic computer literacy for workshop systems and record keeping.

  • HR Truck Licence (preferred).

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
